Cooperatives are autonomous, self-help organizations controlled by their members. If they enter into agreements with other organizations, including governments, or raise capital from external sources, they do so on terms that ensure democratic control as well as their unique identity.

What does that mean? That means you have a say in how your Co-op is run. Voting is one way to express your opinion! The Flathead Electric Cooperative 2023 election closes on Friday, May 19. Paper ballots must be received by the election vendor by this date and electronic voting closes at 11 a.m. on that day. If you would like to vote electronically next year (e-ballots save your Co-op time and money, which helps keep rates low) please call the Co-op at 406-751-4483. Thank you for being an involved member of your autonomous, independent Co-op!
