A letter from Mark Johnson, your Co-op's General Manager

Sunset and power lines

You own your not-for-profit electric cooperative, and you have a say in how it’s run. Thank you for the phone calls and messages detailing what you need to stay informed about energy issues, to save energy and money, and other ways the Co-op can help your families, your businesses, and your communities. We’ve been listening, and our response will be ready for your review on April 18 at the NEW Annual Meeting and Energy Expo!

We’re gathering at FVCC’s Wachholz College Center on a Thursday afternoon. You’re invited to explore interactive booths designed to help you learn about the electricity that powers the Flathead Valley. Co-op energy experts will answer your business partners’ energy efficiency questions and your grandma’s solar panel quandaries. We’ll have “touch a truck” for your kids, and linemen will offer electric safety demonstrations.

We’ll have a short business meeting and give out prizes and scholarships, as always. Check out the schedule and let us know if you’re coming. I hope to see you there!
