Learning from the Top Down

Education, training, and information never stop for the Co-op’s members, staff, and elected officials.

Trustees and employees undertake a rigorous training schedule throughout the year, learning from electric industry leaders on local, regional, and national levels how to best safeguard the Co-op’s safe, reliable, and affordable power. That training is shared throughout the Cooperative, with each department using the information received to achieve maximum safety and efficiency in performing its responsibilities.

Members receive education and information from Co-op staff, too. The Co-op utilizes its many communication channels, including social media, this newsletter, and community outreach events, to keep members and elected officials informed of membership benefits, local events, and industry issues.
