Text Me

Last month, we talked about your new outage communications tool: automatic outage text messages! These text messages are supported by an improved website, including a modernized outage map that works hand in hand with the text messages. The new website also offers you secure, easy access to your online account and improved search functionality to help you find what you’re looking for faster.

As long as your cell phone number is correct in our system, you will receive text messages based on the meter information tied to your account. Pretty neat, huh? It only works, though, if you have your correct cell number on file with us.

Did you receive the opt-in text message?

  • Your Co-op sent out text messages on June 6 opting you into automatic outage texting. If you received that message, you don’t need to take any action — you’re already enrolled in this service.
  • If you did not receive a message opting you into automatic outage texts, please give us a call so we can verify that you are enrolled properly. Call (406) 751-4483.
  • You can also try texting “Flathead” to our outage line at (406) 751-4449 to verify that you’re enrolled in this service.
  • Prefer to update your number yourself? You can do it by following the steps in our FAQ to verify that your cell number associated with your account is up to date.
