Did you know your electricity comes from carbon-free hydroelectricity?
As a Bonneville Power Administration (BPA) customer, approximately 97% of your Co-op’s fuel mix comes from carbon-free resources like hydro, nuclear, wind, and solar. Hydropower projects, like the Hungry Horse and Libby Dams, lower Snake River dams, and other Columbia River Basin dams, make up about 82%. Hydro is the backbone of your Co-op’s electric system, so every day is Hydro Day at the Co-op, but especially August 24, National Hydropower Day.
