Flathead Electric Cooperative is planning a brief power outage on the morning of Thursday, June 12, at 5:15 a.m. in Whitefish. This outage is expected to last approximately 15 minutes and will encompass the area north of the viaduct to the turnoff to Big Mountain Road. The Co-op has placed automated texts and calls to members affected by the planned outage.
The planned outage is necessary to finalize repairs to the electric distribution system following system damage in the area earlier this spring.
