Update on power outage in Kalispell
Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at 4:56pmPower has been restored to over a thousand members impacted by the outage in Kalispell today due to equipment failure on the system along Meridian Road. Crews were hoping for full restoration by now, but have discovered additional equipment that needs to be replaced along Two Mile Drive. That will require at least another half hour of work, followed by a short outage along US Highway 2 West to safely pick that line back up. FYI Equipment failure can be attributed to a number of causes, which can’t always be identified. Frequently, equipment is damaged by preceding events (like storms).
