Two $5,000 Lineworker Scholarships are available annually.
Last year, the Board of Trustees announced a new scholarship to support students attending Montana Tech’s Pre-Apprentice Line Program. Flathead Electric Cooperative congratulates Walter Hammett, Creston native and Flathead High School graduate, the first recipient of this award!
Scholarship applicants must hail from the Co-op’s service area and submit an essay on their background, career goals, and financial need. Hammet shared, “The process for applying through Montana Tech is super easy – really quick and simple.”
Two $5,000 Lineworker Scholarships are available annually. These scholarships are funded by unclaimed capital credits.
