Original Post 9:13 a.m.
A brief power outage planned for Monday, October 7 in the Lakeside area will now occur today, Friday, October 4. This blink is expected to occur around lunchtime. This post will be updated to announce timing updates, along with the Co-op’s social media channels.
Power is anticipated to be out less than 5 minutes. This brief outage will allow the Co-op to finalize a maintenance project on the electric distribution system ahead of this afternoon’s high wind warnings. Robo calls will not be issued to impacted members due to the timing of the maintenance project.
Approximately 2,900 Lakeside area members of Flathead Electric Cooperative will be impacted. Lakeside area residents are encouraged to look carefully at maps reflecting the planned outage, as some parts of their communities are impacted, and others are not. Areas and lines impacted are shown in red in the maps below.
During the outages, impacted members can stay up to date by visiting the Co-op’s Outage Center at flatheadelectric.com/outage. Members with questions may call the Co-op at 406-751-4483.
