Become an Approved Installer
To help us assure our residential members receive a quality installation with good customer service, we maintain a list of approved installers.
What We Require:
- Install eligible equipment to FEC specifications.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Promote FEC programs and encourage program participation.
- Maintain applicable licenses, certificates, and insurance.

Join the Network:
- Submit a signed Approved Installer Agreement (PDF).
- Submit a completed W-9 (PDF).
- Meet with an FEC representative to review the program and forms.
Ductless Heat Pump Installers:
- Visit Join Comfort Ready Homes, and;
- Complete the course Best Practices for Installing Ductless Heat Pumps.
Air Source Heat Pump Installers
- Complete PTCS certification and sign a contractor agreement with BPA. Submit PTCS Certification
Ground Source Heat Pump Installers:
- IGSHPA Certification
- Complete PTCS certification and sign a contractor agreement with BPA. Submit PTCS Certification
