Thank you for your service, Doug Grob, Trustee for District #4
Flathead Electric Cooperative (FEC) would like to congratulate FEC Trustee Doug Grob on his appointment by Montana Governor Gianforte to the Northwest Power and Conservation Council (NWPCC). NWPCC’s purpose is to develop a regional power plan and fish and wildlife program to balance the Northwest’s energy and environmental needs. Doug will be a great asset to this mission!
Because of his appointment to the NWPCC, Doug will no longer be a member of the FEC Board of Trustees.
An FEC Trustee since 2002, Doug’s focus has primarily been on power supply issues. His diligent focus on keeping rates affordable and his thoughtfulness in making the best long-term decisions for the health of the Co-op and wellbeing of our members will leave a lasting impact across our membership. Doug’s expertise in regional power supply and passion for our complex industry will be greatly missed by his fellow board members and by FEC staff who have enjoyed working with him over the years.
In addition to serving as an FEC Trustee, Doug’s considerable experience also includes serving on the Board of the Montana Electric Cooperative Association and as past President of the Western Montana Electric Generating and Transmission Cooperative. Regionally, he has served on the Board of Northwest Requirements Utilities and as alternate on the Public Power Council Executive Committee. Doug has received award recognition from his peers both statewide and regionally.
Flathead Electric Cooperative wishes Doug the very best in his new endeavor and extends its gratitude for his nearly twenty years of dedicated service as an FEC Trustee!
