Energy Efficiency
Because the cheapest kilowatt is the one we never purchase – in support of this maxim, we facilitated:
1,031 energy efficiency incentives, resulting in
8,427 MWh of energy savings, and returned
$2,736,739 from Bonneville Power Administration to our members for their efficiency projects
Infrastructure & Reliability Wins
Lakeside Substation
- Re-engineered to double capacity, including a breaker bay addition
North Valley Substation
- First brand-new sub sited since 2014
- Major reliability and contingency improvement for the entire system
Vegetation Management
- 93.55 miles of power lines trimmed
- 51 total team members involved (including contractors)
- Community Wildfire Defense Grant work – Year 1 completed!
