"Hard Ridin'Award" Presented to FEC Board
"This year’s Hard Ridin' Award goes to a hard ridin' group who came out of the chute riding a whole herd of buckin' broncs in to a paved arena with gunfire coming at them from every direction."
Bob Evans, MECA Board President

Hard Ridin' Award PlaqueThe best reward is positive recognition from your peers.
The Flathead Electric Cooperative Board of Trustees has reason to be proud.  On October 6th, our FEC board was honored to receive the "Hard Ridin' Award" at the Montana Electric Cooperative Association's (MECA) annual meeting.  The award is presented annually to individuals who have demonstrated character and perseverance amidst extraordinary difficulties.

MECA presented the award to recognize the hard work and dedication of the FEC board as they tackled difficulties of the past.  While taking FEC from a low equity position of only 2 percent and bringing the Co-op to 20 percent in five years, your board trustees worked hard to keep the faith with FEC members and with the MECA state association.  Your board is committed to continuing to represent you with the integrity and responsibility FEC members deserve.

This award also has additional special meaning to Flathead Electric Cooperative.  It is officially titled the "Ken Krueger Hard Ridin' Award".  Ken is a past Flathead Electric Trustee.

The Flathead Electric Communications team also received four awards of excellence at the MECA meeting for outstanding communications with the membership.
