Flathead Electric Cooperative is currently accepting applications for the position of Compliance Support Analyst. This is a full time exempt position with a starting wage of $54,000 to $79,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications, and includes an excellent benefits package.

Duties: Coordinate and maintain annual reviews and revisions of the Cooperative’s administrative policies. Responsible for collecting, compiling and assessing data relating to department analyses as well as assisting with meter data management. Maintain the storage of regulatory, transmission and power supply documentation and evidence required to demonstrate compliance with appropriate regulatory agencies. Validate monthly power and transmission invoices, provide beginning-of-month budget to actual summaries and calculate facility use invoices. Respond to and perform special analyses on request.

Prerequisite Skills and Experience:

Education: Bachelor’s degree required in Business or an economics related field with the successful completion of course work in mathematics, economics, statistics and finance or equivalent training and work experience.

Job Related Experience: Prefer five years utility experience in performing analytical and/or regulatory work with technical experience using spreadsheet and database software as well as statistical and econometric programs.

Computer Skills: Proficient on personal computer with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products required.

Other Qualifications:

Must possess effective verbal and written communications skills, demonstrated ability to work effectively with a team; must be self-motivated and willing to accept responsibility.
Must have excellent reasoning and deductive skills; demonstrated ability to perform complex quantitative analyses and present information in an understandable format.
Able to maintain complete confidentiality.
