Flathead Electric Cooperative is currently accepting applications for the position of Facilities & Security Specialist in our Kalispell office. This is a full time exempt position. Wage DOE with an excellent benefits package. The anticipated start date for this position is January 3, 2017.
Duties: Responsible for the maintenance/repair and overall needs of the Cooperative's facilities and security related operations. Ensure that the property is secure, maintained and improved to meet the growing demands of the Cooperative, its members and its employees.
Prerequisite Skills and Experience:
Must be at least 18 years old.
Able to work 40 hours a week, with additional time as required.
Must be able to respond to maintenance issues or other needs at any time, including nights and weekends.
Must have excellent organizational skills and be able to work with all types of people.
Must be self-directed and motivated to get things done quickly and without direct supervision.
Must have a current Montana driver's license and be insurable.
Effective verbal communications skills and legible handwriting is imperative.
Able to travel occasionally out-of-area and overnight.
Frequent standing and walking. Occasional sitting, reaching above the shoulder, driving. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion.
