Cooperative Members Asked to Join Grassroots Effort

Working together is a key part of the cooperative way, and Flathead Electric is asking you to join our Grassroots group that will make sure our members' interests are protected in the legislative process.

"Grassroots is a movement of non-profit utility customers who support the goal of making sure power is affordable and available," said Janice Weaver, Member Services Manager for Flathead Electric. "By joining, you will learn more about the benefits of public power and the issues facing your cooperative. You will also have the chance to contact legislators who make the decisions affecting these issues, and ultimately your wallet."

The benefits are:

• Helps utilities keep rates affordable
• Protects our power supply in the Northwest
• Provides you with updates on issues affecting your utility and electric rates

Signing up for Grassroots is simple and confidential.  You simply fill out the form below. Your e-mail address will be used only to alert you about issues of concern, and will not be provided to any other organization. If you don't have e-mail, we can send you information in the mail.

"Together, we can accomplish more than any of us can do alone," Weaver said. "Neighbors working together toward a common goal is the reason our cooperative was formed. By joining Grassroots, you can help make sure that all our voices are heard."
