Approximately 700 people attended the 78th Annual Members’ Meeting, held March 21, 2015 at the Canvas Church (formerly the Christian Center) in Kalispell. Once again, the venue proved to be excellent in accommodating a large group of people with comfort and quality in audio/ video presentations.
Reports were heard from Co-op management and also from candidates for the Board of Trustees.
Back this year was the awarding of two $500 scholarships to graduating high school seniors Nathan Hartford and Seonna Lamoreaux, both from Kalispell. 25 students (who had to be present to win and accompanied by a parent/guardian who is a member of the Co-op) entered their names in this year’s drawing. Congratulations to all who took home prizes, including Jeffrey Lamoreaux, who claimed the grand prize of a $300 bill credit.
Leftover breakfast treats were donated to the Samaritan House to help the Flathead Valley’s homeless population.
Flathead Electric Co-op wishes to thank everyone who participated in the meeting and we’ll see you all again in 2016!
