All Flathead Electric members receive a bill monthly on one of six monthly billing cycles. Bills go out on the 1st, 5th, 10th, 15th, 20th, and 25th of each month; due dates for these respective cycles are the 20th, 25th, 1st, 5th, 10th and 15th of the following month.
Flathead Electric reads meters monthly. Meter readers read some accounts. The Cooperative has about 60,000 automated meters, and the reading is taken via computer from the office. The Cooperative is gradually phasing-in automated meters to all accounts.

Flathead Electric has available a levelized billing plan for any members who wish to average their electric payments. Under this plan, the member's last twelve months usage is averaged. The monthly bill may vary slightly based on seasonal usage.
If you are looking for ways to simplify your life, consider Auto Pay for your electric bill. The amount of the bill will be deducted automatically from your designated bank account on your billing due date. You will still receive your bill in the mail indicating the total amount deducted. If you are interested, please complete the Recurring Payment Information through our eBill site, you'll find it located on the left menu "Financial info." "Set up Credit/Debit Card or Set up Checking or Savings Account" after you login.
You can pay your monthly bill with Visa, MasterCard, or Discover credit or debit cards. We can even set up the transactions to automatically pay from your credit card every month by filling out the above Auto Pay Options form.
You can call toll free 877-761-4637 and pay your bill by phone. When you call the PAY-BY-PHONE number, have your account number ready, and follow the voice prompts. You can use this service 24 hours a day, every day. If you are making a payment from your checking account, you will be required to give us the last four digits of your social security number for security purposes. Visa, Mastercard and Discover accepted.”

You may also pay bills at Glacier Bank branches valley wide and in Libby. Your billing statement is required for payment at Glacier Bank. Other payment options available include Auto pay, credit card, and levelized billing. Call the Cooperative office to set up your account preference.
